We have computerized band saws, computer controlled flame cutting tables, plasma cutting capabilities and innovative software to ensure your order is handled efficiently. If you need specific lengths, bevelling, complex shape cutting, stripping, multiples or any kind of custom cut, we have the state-of-the-art equipment to handle the job.
SAW CUTTING
Price Steel has two computerized band saws from the industry leaders at Hyd-Mech to meet all of your custom cut requirements. Our M20A and H26-42 models are high capacity, high speed saws that ensure your materials are cut to an exact tolerance. Our Hyd-Mech H26-42 has a 42” throat depth enabling us to handle larger materials with a fast, accurate cut.
PRECISION SHEET AND PLATE PROCESSING WITH COMPUTER-CONTROLLED PLASMA AND OXYFUEL CUTTING TABLES
If you need rings, circles, irregular shapes or straight lines, the dedicated staff at Price Steel is here to help. Price Steel has also invested in a new piece of processing equipment that allows us to offer our customers tapping, countersinking, drilling, milling, marking, and bevelling. The THOR (Tecoi Hyper Operative Range) is the newest piece of processing equipment to help service our customers even more. The Thor table has a 10’ x 60’ cutting area, two plasma heads with bevelling technology, and a Plasma cutting capacity up to 2” thick. It has a 30 KW multitool machining head with a 20-position SK 50 automatic loader tool magazine. The Thor also has a tapping capacity of up to M40 (1.6”) and a drilling capacity of up to Ø80 mm (3.500”). Price Steel also has a Sector precision eight torch oxyfuel cutting system. This oxy-fuel system sits on an 18’ x 65’ table with piercing capability up to 8” thick.
